On short-time Fourier transform with single-sided exponential window

A special case of the short-time Fourier transform with single-sided exponential window, named exponentially forgetting transform (EFT), is discussed. It is shown that the EFT offers in a certain sense good time-frequency resolution and that stable reconstruction of a signal from samples of the EFT at equidistant time-frequency grid points (nT, kSZ) is possible, even for the case of nonredundant sampling (TQ = 27r). Finally, computationally efficient algorithms for analysis and synthesis of discrete-time signals are developed. Computational efficiency is gained by using recursive computation in combination with the FFT algorithm. Der Artikel behandelt dem Transform mit dem exponentielem Vergessen, das ist ein besonderes Beispiel des kurzfristigen Fourierischen Transforms mit einseitigem exponentielem Fenster. Es zeigt sich, dalj dieser Transform eine gute zeitliche-frequenzliche Auflosung hat und da13 eine stabile Rekonstruierung des Signals aus dem Transformwert auf dem Equidistanznetz in der zeitlichen Frequenzebene moglich ist. Am Ende sind rechnerisch wirksame Algorithmen fur die Analyse und Synthese der zeitlich diskreten Signale mit Hilfe dieses Transforms angegeben. Diese Algorithmen beruhen auf einer Kombination des rekursiven Rechnens und FFT Algorithmen.
